South facing dining kitchen created from a large bedroom at the front of the house. The aim of this project was to create a room that was the "hub" of the house, an easy space to cook, eat and relax.
An important element of the design was that the contempory style of the kitchen would work harmoniously with the rich traditional features of the room.
Relocating the kitchen from the back of the house required careful thought and input from other specialists such as an archictect to obtain the necessary permissions and listed building consent. The original north-facing kitchen was subsequently converted into a small double bedroom.
